Re: Boring Board No More!

Pretty sure they can handle passivity just fine.
Have you noticed who has the Presidency, Supreme Court, and both houses of Congress lately?

Re: Off the beaten path

As to Roy's query, I don't get to Janesville much, so I was hoping someone else would venture an opinion first. If I see a review on Beer Advocate or some such, I'll report back. My usual annual pub crawl is in the Chicago area. Last year we hit Three Floyds, Map Room, Piece, Revolution, Local Optio...

Re: Boring Board No More!

^^People laugh at this stuff. It's not funny when it really happens. I wonder if people are nervous, and the coping mechanism is to try to make light of it. I'm trying to understand the apocalyptic humor going around, because people usually act like it's going to happen to other people. Um, no. We'r...

Re: Dane Dems Holiday Party

No Shorty. If you say Christmas, they will beat you to death after pulling out your fingernails, and wrapping you in U.S. flags that they set afire while taking a knee. So don't go if you know what's good for you. Or at least don't say the C word.

This is particularly interesting given the regulatory environment in the Trump era.
Why isn't someone going to jail? That level of indifference to safety is the moral equivalent of murder.

Re: Al Franken: Step Right Up! It's Your Turn!

I'd be OK with Franken resigning....as long as Trump does too.

There's a reason why the POTUS is staying away from the Moore question. Hits a little close to home. Too close.

Correct. However as I can hardly get out, it may as well be another state.

Did you ever get to that new brewpub down there? You mentioned it a couple of months ago.

And, that's why Congress won't enact any laws that appreciably curtail sales of any type of gun.
They're listening to the money. And the money will tell them ixnay on any insurance requirements.

Re: GOP tax scheme Official Thread

Am the only one who wonders if Trump insisted on including health care in the bill to ensure that it won't pass?
Maybe it's more important to the Trump/Bannons to primary establishment Republicans to purge the party than to get this bill passed.
